How Does the Body Ecology Diet work?

Think of your body’s balance as a mini ecosystem–just like our planet’s.  the ecosystem is inhabited by both friendly and unfriendly microorganisms.  In ideal health, the friendly greatly outnumber the unfriendly microorganisms.  However, many factors weaken our immunity such as chemicals we add to our food, stress in our lives and the use of medicines.   An imbalance results and the good microorganisms become outnumbered by the bad microorganisms. They can multiply quickly destroying the harmony of our inner ecology. The result is a weakened immune system and disease.

Through the Body Ecology System, we begin healing by establishing colonies of good bacteria in our intestines which acts as a ’swat team’ against disease-causing, unfriendly microbes.  This is accomplished by eating nutritional, probiotic foods, changing the types of fats consumer and greatly reducing carbohydrates and sugars.  Since the healgh of our intestines is intimately linked to the other systems in our body, by cultivating and nourishing our microglora, we can maintain balance and health.
